"Flank Wall Wilding"

I am glad you posted this. I have often wondered about urban parking and whether you were allowed to sleep in the vehicle. I have stayed in a couple of car parks in small villages. Park my van up close to another van and no one notices me.

I had wondered about factory estates on Saturday nights and sundays, are they private property or only when indicated.

If its an area that other cars and vans park then why shouldn't you. Its all about whether you feel safe or not.

Just thought as I retire soon I'll be a Frequent Flanker. Do you get points?

There's no law against falling asleep in a parked vehicle... happens to me all the time!

quiet place

hello zimba90.................I do exactly the same full timing at moment in bristol...........the legal situation is that as long as your van is taxed, you can park anywhere on a public road (in a sensible safe place obviously) anywhere in the eu...........I tend to always park behind or in the lee of another vehicle to keep my van safe, and for overnight a quiet place is the key..........if you ever get any problems from householders, speak to the police..........I had one guy (as have other motorhomers) try to tell me I could not park outside his upmarket house in one street in bristol........and as he was insistent, I spoke to police, who went and told him in no uncertain terms not to bother me again.........off to spain soon......steve bristol
