Tucked up on a very nice none CL/CS but might as well be site to nite with hot and cold running floodlit view of Bamburgh Castle....
After cracking fish and chips (Not chippy Dre in Tremadog fantastic BUT damn good)
Eaten overlooking the sea at Beadnell before letting the hounds enjoy the beach (and bloody seaweed)

£22 a, night including toilets/showers/hook up etc....

Bit pricey (as your basically in the front garden of the farmhouse)
BUT lots of places shut due to wet weather and recent storm damage (lots of woodland round RAF Boulmer badly damaged)

BUT good opportunity to use their facilities and act as a base for next few days exploring....

Been years since I visited this particular bit of coast....
Last time properly was with mum and dad stopping at Glororum (now a massive place)
When was around 1979 when I was 13....
And hated elmost every second....

What I'd give to have them sat here with me now....

Especially Dad watching me pour a small amount of Cola into a glass of Bowmore No 1

;-)

Howick Hall is near Boulmer.

There is a massive and special arboretum there, put together over the years by the Earl(s) Grey (as in the tea).

Bet they have lost some of their special trees in Storm Arwen :(
