Hi it may shrink to about half of that depending how much resin you use and whether you stipple out with a brush or use a glass roller,and are you using a gel top coat.

About half thickness then debs,if painting g/fibre you must use two pack epoxy or a two pack chromate etching primer manor paints ph 0845 5382225 which is very thin and light yellowish smelling like cats pee before any top coat.
