If only it was so easy, it maybe is on a 60's MiniI'm confused must be the lack of beer...Press puts it in...Extraction system whether puller or a dab of weld on outer bearing gets it oot...Easy way to get it in, is heat hub and put bearing in freezer...Then drop bearing in...Well sort of...

Update,
Took the van into a mates garage today, they couldn't look at it till this afternoon as it was short notice.
Anyway it appears to be the front passenger wheel bearings. The problem is now they can't get the bearing out of the hub with the press they have even after warming it up!
One of the lads I work with his father has a garage so he's rang him to see what press he has, apparently it's a 20 ton press, that should do the job shouldn't It?
Cheers

Had the same prob with my old skoda, the noise was like two boulders being ground together, when i removed and split the bearing there was a small hole where rust from water ingress had eaten in,could not beleave the noise it made.

bit of play. it comes compleat with the hub and just bolts on dead easy.
