Fiat Ducato 1995 model rear lights replacement

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for a rear light glass cover, in Brittany? Or France?
I can't really do online, as we don't have an address! I can't read any model numbers on the unit, but then, I haven't had a really close look, as it's raining. A lot. Thought we must have taken a wrong turn and were in Normandy again, but, no, it's Brittany.

Van vs. bollard, bollard won!

It looks like a Britax light but I cannot find a picture of that one, you need to post the number but if you cannot see it the number from the nearside light will identify it

No fixed address

Hi Susan and welcome to the site.

It`s a Hella Mini Wrap Round/Reverse Light. Ref : 227781 see here 8th one down

Rear Cluster Lights, Rear Lights

Hella Mini Wrap Round/Reverse Light - Rear Cluster Lights

The website says it`s " Out of stock until 27th Aug 2014 "

Thanks for that.

. I found that site, and thought that unit may be the one. Of course, it's the only one that doesn't list the size.

Here's what we could get, in the gloom of the pouring rain:

Rear light cluster 308 *x 133 h

Hella ...8904 last digits , made in Finland

A 4 (or possibly A) R 2aA RDS1D (or RD510?)
8904
00 01 02
F17
RD510 (?)

Unfortunately, with no fixed address, we can't do online orders - they have nowhere to send it. ”Somewhere in France” wouldn't work very well.

Thanks for the welcome; I've been lurking, er, reading. It's all very educational.

It's a Dethleffs model 5822. I posted a photo of the light but it doesn't show in the post, only a link. Don't know how to do that.

We are at an aire at Le Pas? Somewhere in a forest. South of Saint-Brieuc. Heading to Carnac, maybe.

What we need more than anything is the names of businesses that can supply these light fittings and maybe some addresses. My google-fu just isn't working for trying to find campervan supplies shops in France.

Just realised the photo posted upside-down. Gotta love those iPads!

there is a quick fix just to get you legal untill you can get another unit .its a kit with red and yellow transparent tape i would expect its for sale in garages and car spares shops in France

its always worth carrying some of this repair tape in your car or van as you never know when you are going to break a lens .i suppose you could also buy a yellow bulb if the repair kits arnt available .at least then your rear indicator will be legal showing a orange or yellow light .

Find a friendly business of any sort that is open all day and offer wine in exchange for them accepting the delivery?
We used to have mail sent to a Post Office in Mimizan, I don't know if they do it with parcels but maybe it could be sent to a local Post Office near you

Temporary fix

Thanks to everyone for their replies and suggestions.

We went back and unashamedly (but quickly!) picked up all the pieces we could find. Superglue to the rescue! Loctite did the trick. We managed to reconstitute about 94% of the original, and for now, that's working, once we had installed a replacement bulb.

The next challenge will be to source and get that replacement.

Many thanks to Dave as well, for his unstinting help, suggestions, and guidance (as in, literally guiding us to the camping spot) this afternoon.
