Ferry cost to france

We went on Hull to Rotterdam last autumn. Much easier for us to get to(midlands).Having an overnight cabin was all part of the holiday. We arrived about 8.30 am.This gave us all day to get to where we wanted.
At one time we always went for the cheapest crossing. Now we prefer to go for the easiest port to travel to.
Of course, it all depends as well on your intended destination. I find Birmingham-Portsmouth an easy journey and Birmingham-Poole not too bad and destination ports are good for local exploring or for heading south as required.. I take my own overnight cabin with me, so tend to go for day crossings. :)

If we decide on an Italian tour next year we might try Hull-Rotterdam, agree Birmingham-Portsmouth is normally an easy run, trouble is we have to get to Birmingham down the M6 🤯😃
