Rothiemurchus a couple of years or so back.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Winter month's,,,& in fact am heading North from Littlehampton (Well limited choice really !) with a view of making it to Scotland & her islands for a few months within the next few weeks. For me Guyfalks to Easter is just the best. Hardly ever worry about the cold, as it must be true,,, the Sun DOES shine out of my Arse !.

Now just how far north I get depends primarily on my stores of Cider n Donuts, But then Closely followed by The Weather / Road conditions & Funds. The whole thing just makes me Feel like a Kid at Christmas !.

BTW What's all that white stuff in your pixxes ?

Sadly it's not always about lovely white snow. We spent last Christmas in southern Snowdonia, trapped in the van by 60mph winds and horizontal rain.

Did lead to a mammoth Carcassone session though :)

I spent a few winter month's in and around the med & Carcassonne a few years back, & can remember one of the most spectacular Thunderstorm's I have ever seen in my life there, Beautiful !. Really Raw Power !.

Winter is a brill time to go camping, especially when you go to bed when its just a bit wet and cold and you wake up in the morning and you’re covered in snow. Get the van warmed up, followed by bacon butty and hot mug of tea, what could be better?

Waking up on a misty mountain morning, smells of rosemary, lavender and cystus.. 19 degrees.
Beats the **** out of all that Snow and evility.
We're State Registered Softies.
After July in Portmadog, we deserve better.
25 degrees now.
Mustn't complain.

I bugger off for 5 months, worth it travelling 1300 miles to avoid the cold.
Can be quite a pleasant experience being in a warm van, snow all around, it's just when you go out trying
to fill in the spare 12 hours, that's the problem.

Snow No Way

People who enjoy snow can have my share it's OK to look at but not be in. I much prefer following the Swallows South

We use our camper all year round. Nothing more toasty than looking out on bad weather from a nice warm camper. However, would much rather look out to a beautiful sunny day with waves gently breaking on a sandy beach 😎
