I am seeking a reasonable priced ESim contract with roaming.
I can get one with EE but it is £24 per month.
Does anyone have any better ideas?

Take a look on the MoneySavingExpert website. There is a sim only finder and you can set roaming as one of your requirements. If you are looking for a lot of data you will get much better deals for 100GB sims rather than unlimited data sims

Try ID Mobile. They have 100g deals starting at £10 and unlimited at £18.
Monthly contract so you can cancel anytime.

Make sure you check the fair use policy for the various companies when roaming; Talkmobile allow free EU roaming and advertise you can use your monthly allowances in the EU, but the small print caps data usage at 15GB per month
