I guess you looked this up online, just shows that t'internet cannot be trusted, DPF's didn't become mandatory until part way through 2011 and euro5, that's why we've got a van manufactured in 2011 without a DPF.

Some times folk say our veh is such a year when in fact thats when first reg, it may be a lot older, mine was reged 2000 but in fact made in 1997 and stored.
When in the motor trade folk looking for parts many times got wrong stuff and had to come back with chassis numbers which showed there car was much older and parts were not the same, this in the trade was called a face lift, maybe 3 of these on each model before a compleatly new model arrived.

Dose the outdoor temp reading work in the dash cluster ? .

My ducato outdoor temp reading has'nt worked for years, says 80c today.
Van drives fine maybe you refer to the dpf temperature sensor under the O/S mirror...

Correct , mine was reading 60 c I had no running problems I fitted a new mirror sender at a cost of a tenner ebay , temp now reads correct so dpf and Aircon should function properly, fault is caused by faulty sender or mirror being replaced by cheap pattern mirror that dose not come with sender . The sender can be seen under the mirror if sender is not fitted the dash reading is blank ,. A genuine sender is about £80 , Lots of info on you tube . Hop that helps Bazz

We bought a 2001 Autosleeper based on a Peugeot Boxer, it was new from Brownhills, when I did some research it was on a 1998 chassis, it turned out to be a prototype which had been at the factory for three years while they kept altering and testing things on it

Now in Bosnia & Hertzegovina and for the last few days the engine has been behaving itself. Fingers crossed.
