I can't seem to figure out what has gone wrong with rearview mirror. It was working a couple of weeks ago. I have a bessacarr e452 and the sergeant unit doesnt seem to show off there's a fuse for this. Could it be somewhere else?
Any help appreciated
Kind regards
Mark

So is it a wired one or wireless?

It will have a separate fuse/s either way.

Does the screen turn on? Mine has a switch to change cameras V1 & V2

Where does the camera get its feed? Usually, the reversing light wire if aftermarket; if part of the actual build it could be from the gearbox switch.

Where does the screen get its feed?

Follow the wires back, and there will be a fuse/s.

Do you mean the reverse light feed, otherwise it would only come on every time you braked

A bit more information about both the unit and the nature of the problem might be helpful.

Probably not the case here, but we had a similar issue when we took delivery of our van. The dealer couldn't fix it and, because I'd declared the camera system on my insurance, I was not prepared to take delivery if it wasn't working. After some time had passed, Jan noticed a decal on the side of the screen that said, "Touch Screen". "Has anyone tried touching the screen?" she asked. Everyone looked at her like she was talking a foreign language and the dealer's mechanic said, "That just means you can change the settings by touching the screen -- touching it won't turn it on!" Then some famous last words as he said, "See...", and touched the screen, which promptly sprang into life! ... Grasping at straws, but I wonder!

Make & model would be useful

Plus
Is it standard fitment ?
Did a previous owner fit it ?
Did you fit it ?

Is it the screen that isn't working.
