Einhell generator.

Hi everyone.
Just wondering if anyone is using the Einhell 2000 inverter generator. Having looked at what is available locally this seems to have decent reviews, if one can believe them !. I would have preferred a Honda but at three times the price of the Einhell I can’t justify it .So if anyone is using one please let me have an honest opinion. Thanks in advance.

A mate has an Einhell open frame 2kw and it gets a lot of use, been very reliable but Christ it’s loud compared to my Honda (which I’ve just sold)

Never had or used one of those. I stick with Hyundai, always done well for me, the 1Kw model I had I ran for over 500 hours problem free, son in law has it now and it’s still going strong. An awful lot cheaper than Honda but to my mind just as good

When we bought the Laika it had a Honda genny in the garage. I used it once, nice bit of kit and started by looking at it, but it was only a small output one so I sold it to a mate, since then we have steadily reduced our need to have more than the basics, our biggest current draw is the LED tube over the hob, and the 300w Bestek PSW inverter to charge me scooter batteries, If I was to ever get a Microwave, (I like to get pressies for Liz) then I'll need to look into it, but they don't do much more than a hob or oven will so it is highley unlikely to hapen

Thanks for taking the time to to reply .Unfortunately it is quite difficult to find many different makes here ( Portugal) and to have anything sent out is a total nightmare.As reasonable noise free is important I will keep looking. Thanks again.

I think you will need something like a Honda or another big brand name.

Or maybe if for short periods one of the power boxes, or even an Efoy

I do still have a Honda suitcase generator (1kw) that I don’t use if it’s of interest to anyone.

It’s barely been used TBH. I was going to put it on eBay but never got around to it.

I didn’t expect you to be interested Topmast as its 1kw not 2kw and by the time we got it to Portugal it would have cost a packet.
