Another band of rain supposed to be coming over tonight so I hope it doesn't do a repeat performance. The river at York is flooded so my husband couldn't work today.
I hope it all works out for you and those of you at risk don't suffer any damage...could I remind you of this invention which will at least give you drinkable water as it filters out viruses from dirty water and gives you clean sterile water to drink....I was glad of it over in NI a couple of years back when the water system broke down after many pipes burst during the very cold weather.
