EE 4g unlimited SIM now down to £22 a month

I get the impression that there are very few staff, I tried to join but had to give up because the EE signal was hopeless. During the process I often got the same staff member and the chat line was down on numerous occasions. The staff were very helpful in fairness.
You may well be right . Went back on live chat new SIM being sent out yesterday. Hopefully get it on time

Hope you got it activated OK. Have a good trip.
I never received the email confirming activation of my SIM, but it seems to be working OK in the UK. About to check its roaming ability.

Working ok in UK . Had to do a reset on phone which always means (for me) problems .
Can't connect with my dodgy firestick.
Now requires a password, didn't previously.
Possibly need to use my original SIM for firestick.
France etc next week see how it goes

France today. Popit SIM working well.

My ph sim with onepenny is £10 - 3 mths, and i have never been able to use a third of it, as for internet, once you leave the street its non existant.

I have an EE sim with 150gb for £16 a month. But because I am a BT customer I get double data to 300gb. In effect that’s unlimited. I could watch about 200 hours of tv from that.

Just been of with onepenny, they tell me the sys is down and new repeaters on 4/5 are being pressed into service very soon.

I am currently researching these, can you recall which products this was please? I cannot find the thread.

I've just got a supernatty little thing from 3. It's a wifi mobile router. It costs £11 a month for the first six months then £22 a month. Unlimited data, and as it is rechargeable-battery powered the whizzo thing for a motorhomer is that you can take it with you wherever you go, and so long as there is a 3 cell site within range you have unlimited data. It's wifi'd to your computer, and of course if your computer (presumably a laptop) has a USB socket that will keep the mifi (that;s what they call it) charged. I'm very pleased. I now don't have a phone line into my house. Of course 3 has a mobile - plus internet deal so if you have 3 mobile as well, this is a big big saving over my previous providers. It's 4G+, whatever that is. It's a bigger number than 3 so it must be good.

EE unlimited is limited

I found this out to my detriment this month and cancelled - extra £39 to my bill
apparantly limited to 100Gb, i wish they had told me at the time, apparantly its buried in their T&C's
I ordered this through BT and said it is to replace my broadband, so also forked out on a good router and because of bad signal an expensive Antenna. I guess they will come in handy again at some point!
Silly me, max signal strength downloading is 200Kbs where i live.
It took me 3 hours of being banded about to get it all cancelled
Sorry if i led anyone up the garden path, I genuinly thought it was a good deal

Lesson learnt

Thats ridiculous! If they are advertising it as "Unlimited" its surely misleading even if there is something buried in the T&C's. 100gb is nowhere near being enough to carry an "unlimited" label these days. I get 230gb a month on Vodafone for £16 a month or something like that and they do an unlimited service beyond that.

Worth checking what the 3 signal is like where you are. They do unlimited home broadband with 4G and 5G routers and in principle only offer it to addresses that they believe their signal will adequately support. Price a few weeks ago was £20/month with nothing to pay for the first three months.

I thought EE unlimited was only limited to 100Gb on newer (post ******) deals when roaming...

My EE deal is Unlimied its £17/month with a second sim for £12/month, each year I get a better offer to tempt me off that deal, but when you check the details it aint better, its more expensive unless I stay in the UK and that aint happening any time soon
