Be interested to know what happens with ops second order?
we seem to be inundated with Temu adverts, it's good to get feedback.

It looks like a cheap and early version of AliExpress to me.
I used to use Aliexpress quite a lot and they had the same kind of super-low prices and free shipping. Now the shipping there is rarely free and VAT is added to every order as per current UK requirements (which then leads me to think Temu are not operating correctly/legally when selling to the UK, so don't expect any protection if your money goes walkies).
Temus free shipping is interesting... the free shipping from Aliexpress was available as they exploited what was effectively a loophole in shipping processes - shipping costs for goods sent from a 'developing country' are paid for by the national carrier of the destination country, so Royal Mail for the UK. so that item you are buying from Temu with Free Shipping? The Post Office is absorbing the cost of delivering it to you.
Now the joke is that if a country is a 'developing country' or not is self-determined - and the PRC, the 2nd largest economy in the world decided to declare itself a 'developing country' and so the great majority of countries they ship their stuff to subsidise those costs. I don't know why they were allowed to get away with that, but I think now that has been changed (and why Aliexpress free shipping has become a lot rarer). Maybe Temu is operating not from China officially but some outlier location which is 'developing'?

I wonder if when you need to complain about a delivery (late, missing parts, wrong item, broken, etc) you get the same kind of conversations as AliExpress sellers? "don't give bad feedback. my boss beat me if not 5 star"; "I give you 5% discount if you don't complain and accept broken parts". load of rubbish.

(can you tell not a fan? ;) )

Mine was delivered by EVRi not the PO

doesn't matter WHO delivers it, the National Carrier pays the cost with these agreements.

I mentioned this as an explanation on how these companies can ship across the world for nothing or virtually nothing, no more, no less. not really that interested in the discussion really.

There is an irish girl group on utube singing about lidl but cannot find it, very funney.

I ordered a barrow full of junk too but I’ve just noticed the delivery company is Every previously Hermes so I can say goodbye to that order.

My lightweight shoes arrived today, cheap and are what they are for 7 bucks, think there site scares ebay etc and diverts the sale.
