looking for some help with our Eberspacher the fan is coming on but only for a short period no noise from the pump and no heat then just cuts out any ideas

A dead cell in the battery, we had just the same problem and although the leisure battery would run the TV,lights etc it wouldn't do the eberspacher, they just won't work if the battery isn't 100%

are you trying it with the engine running ? if not,give it a go

tried with the engine on and its wired to the battery on the bus not the leisure.

Pump should tick when working check for power at pump. If pump not working heater will go through start cycle and shut down

My D2 was behaving a bit like this. I ended up taking advice from our local eberspacher agent who tested it and diagnosed the problem.
Apparently the early models had poor control units that were prone to failure.
I had to get the control unit replaced with an upgraded Hella unit.
It now works as it should but the bad news is that it was very expensive, around £400. The dealer asked for assurance that I would be willing to go ahead with the repair before he ordered the part.
