A neighbour has a D2 24 volt heater with a knackered ECU. Does anyone have a spare one for sale. I know nowt about these type of systems but I am told the ECU is not cheap.

He would consider buying a used 12 volt D2 if anyone has one.

BTW, he is monitoring ebay etc. to see what comes up (just to save you putting any links up).

I know-i'm a total,disappointing waste of space,my wife would be the first to agree. I have got a 24v eber,which I just bought a timer for,but I haven't worked out how to wire it up yet

Well that's at least £100 cheaper than buying a new one at trade prices, the cost of componants for these is getting beyond a joke, it has now got to the stage that if I have one come in with a motor fault which normally leads to a problem in the control box it can be more cost efficient for me to fit a new heater.

ive been looking into thease and as fulltimer says the costs of spares etc does seem bizzare, given i only have a small space to heat il prob go down a portable heater or small gypsy stove road
