Myself and many others enjoyed years of wild camping in this district,but this year the police have been instructed to move on any campervans they come accross,telling you to go in the morning,2nd warning they are not so nice ,hide away places are being blocked of by rocks,places like Stair Haven this year now have the no overnight parking signs,Ardwell bay now has a gate accross it,residents arround Ardwell port Logan are phoning police if they see a camper anywhere late at night.
the whole area is becoming a no go area.
The best we can do now is the small Ardwell campsite on the shore at a fiver a night including showers and washroom.
The future is bleak for us freedom lovers,
