Ducato door locking problem

Got a 2015 ducato. Went to if this am ,side door would not unlock so got in through back and unlocked side door from inside.

Now side door will not lock but says it is closed with dashboard warnings. All other doors are ok.

Going to try cleaning contacts

Any other ideas ?

If it was frosty this could be problem.
I had to put heated probe into mine sometimes in winter.
The the you get on the side of a torch.
Try some WD40, I find that can solve many door issues.

All sorted .Bugger. when door got slammed last night back of door switch came off and everything fell in the door.

I agree fisherman wd40 is a marvellous product that is useful as a get out of jail card .....but .... It can backfire too with extended use for door locks in the longer term far better off using a graphite based lubricant
