Ducato clutches pre 2006 models 2.3

I am still trying to ascertain more , info or members experiencing clutch failure
on pre 2006 DUCATO 2.3 MODELS.

on 3 occasions, the clutch on my 2004 ducato 15 2.3cc, has played up. The pedal only returns halfway! all I do is, reach down pull the pedal back to rest position, and all is fine. I once spoke to guy who had 3 ducato vans on his fleet, he told me, between 10/12000 mls,the clutch will be replaced and no problems again other than normal wear& tear.I am now keeping my fingers crossed after completing 20000mls. nigel54

Ducato clutch failure

Hello,
Yes I am probably just another with a pre 2006 clutch problem. I have a 2004 2.3 which after 16000 miles and 24 months the clutch ran out of play and started slipping. Fiat were not interested in my waranty claim because it was on a motorhome ie, it runs close to its maximum weight most of the time.
I am aproaching 30000 miles and fear a repeat of the problem. I drive a Boxer 1.9 van daily which is aproaching 180,000 miles with no clutch problems. Is it me?
