Driveway camping

Back in the van the night nae rain but it’s nice and cosy plus I get to watch what I want on the telly.

Let me guess wullie, possibly the highlights from twickers today, a wee dram, then watch them again, two wee drams, then a third time followed by three wee drams, then sleep and dream about winning the six nations. Then tomorrow back to reality with a thump.:(

I’ve always been a MU fan. But it’s strange how things work out Steven Gerard was my favourite English player of all time now he’s my God what he’s done at Rangers is unbelievable. will hate to lose him but he’s your next Liverpool manager hands down.

No in the van but had a few afore the game on next😀 just chilling oot honest 9DF39ECA-1AC9-4B6C-9E49-81FC56C1C4FF.jpeg9DF39ECA-1AC9-4B6C-9E49-81FC56C1C4FF.jpeg

As English players go Wully, my favourite was Glenn Hoddle, would've been Gazza if it wasn't for his self destruct button.

But I think you are right about Gerrard.

Gazza is still a legend up here seen him play loads of times Brian loudrup was a great player too watch true skill but I have to say the best player I ever watched was Henrik Larson even though he played for Celtic he was the best I’ve ever seen by a mile.

I did get to see George Best back in the day which was something else. Picking a best in the world all time player though?

Franz Beckenbauer, Pele, Maradonna to name but 3 before we even get to the modern ones. Very hard to choose.

I watched George best play for Hibs towards the end and he didn't run daft but jeez he kicked a ball from one end to other and could drop it fight onto a boot lace

Not forgetting Sniffer Clarke and big Jack, Gordon.

Strange, but back then everybody could name every player in the Leeds team above all other teams. Glad to see them back in the Premiership even if they did beat us recently.

Soz rob Alan Clarke and jacko along with others great to watch it was they were a tall side rob
as I sip my hibs gin and bitter lemon how ironic after all them years

Never got to see Georege best play but seen loads of videos of him. I did manage to get to an El Classico game in Barcelona the one where luis Vigo sighned from Barcelona to Madrid I was on Holliday in Salou and managed to get a ticket that was the game the pigs head got tossed on the pitch. Never experienced anything like it before or after absolutely electric payed €150 for my ticket and they we’re changing hands for €1000. A once in a lifetime experience.

Maradonna said when voted the best player, no its George Best, but again fell for the devels soup.

Best player I saw in a Sunderland shirt was an over the hill drunk called Jim Baxter. He only played for ten minutes maximum out of the ninety but it was ten minutes of magic.

I watched Man. U beat Bayern Munich there in 1999 to win the Champions league final. I got my ticket nicked on the Ramblas but astonishingly managed to talk my way in!
I also saw George Best play at Blackpool for Fulham, he was still amazing.

I lost interest in football many years ago after my home team of Sutton Utd. were robbed 6-0 (at home) by Leeds Utd in the FA cup not sure of the year.
Saw some names of the time which was superb. Saw George Best at Crystal Palace playing for Fulham, occasional moments of genius, sold tickets, shame about George. Now not interested in that or other circuses that perform. Guess it's an age thing.

I have been relegated to the bedroom Wully because I want to watch Man Utd v Everton, at least an English team will win 🤣🤣🤣
Well, some of them Terry.

Anyhoo, a draw would suit me, if you would please.
My pleasure Rob, so I was wrong, an English team didn't even manage a win between them, 😩
I have been a Man Utd can all my life, when they played Barnsley in 1964 in the FA Cup I met all the players because my uncle worked as a groundsman so had contacts, shaking hands with my footballing hero Bobby Charlton is something that I will never forget, even though I shook hands with Best, Law, Crerand and a few more, as a 13yr old it didn't seem much at the time but I had just developed interest in motorbikes
