So , basically , 2-3 glasses of wine . Bed at 10 , set off at 10 the following morning , pretty safe .
I The idea of having your own personal breathaliser is a good one.
It depends on the size of the glass and the ABV(alcohol by volume) of the wine. Some generous pourers will be giving you a glass with 4 units. The idea of having your own personal breathaliser is a good one.
Remember in Scotland the limit is lower than England and Wales.
Is there an echo in here.![]()
This stuff is brill, only 2% abv but tastes great, I even drink it at home, 90 pence for 4 cans.
Online Food Shopping - ASDA Groceries
Yup, driving limit is lower in Scotland.
But to compensate, stuff like the beer in the link below is more expensive
each can is 0.9 Units, so in Scotland, the minimum price allowed is 45p a can - so pack of 4 will be twice the English price!
Stock up before you cross the border
The more they catch the better IMO. Personally I think it should be zero tolerance for alcohol as it is for other drugs.
The ASDA in Berwick is the same distance as the ASDA in Gala for me. But I don't bother as the only drink that was really impacted in truth was the stuff like White Lightning "cider" and apart from that I don't drink enough to careI know a lot of canny Scotsmen who go on the booze run to Berwick upon Tweed to save a few pence.
