I have been trying to download an avatar to my c.p. on here but no matter which code is entered all I get is. invalid file. ..........How do I do it, I am trying to bring it from photobucket.

First thing make sure you have a copy of your old avatar in case you want to change back to it.
Save the avatar that you now want onto your computer desktop or in a folder where you can find it.
Go to edit avatar click on do not use Avatar and save changes then you should have no Avatar showing.
Next click on browse and select the Avatar from your computer.
It works for me, but selecting one from photobucket wont.

You need to make sure your avatar is within the size limit set by Admin .
I dont know the size limit but if you right click on other peoples avatars and select properties that will give you a good indication of size
most photo editing software can reduce your pictures to the right size but the easiest one to use is avatar resizer it is available for a free download here

No can't get it onto my laptop and can't get it on here, so in the interest of the N.H.S coronary care specialists, I kicked the lap top bag, swore at the cat and went for a walk but it started to rain so I came back and burnt the tea..................... anyway I like my avatar........... its .....o....k......

To get the avatar as you put it into your laptop is easy.
Go to the avatar right click on the picture then a list of options pop up the the one that you select is save picture as then another box pops up and you can select where you want to save it on your computer.
Any questions dont hesitate to ask however silly you think they are i am only to happy to help.

Finally got an avatar made. (you have to explain it twice to a femish and than he answers 'watte?').
Note this is a Flemish lion, not the Belgian. Just not to bring the Scottish to an idea

Lenny, Will you please come and collect jack, he has pee'd on the carpet, the cat is hidden under the stairs and the postman has said its him or the dog........... He has had a bit of a flirtation
with a little shiatsu down the road and seemed to be in a celebratory mood all night. However I am now out of Gravy Bones and the little shiatsu's owner is distributing flyers with an identikit image of jack asking for information on his whereabouts ...... so please Lenny .... a jokes a joke and enough is enough....
