Have thought about designing and individually handcrafting some sort of membership badges in silver. Possibly be around twenty pounds per badge. ten pounds to cover costs and ten pounds straight to site funds. Have sent admin pm, just waiting for response. Not sure if this is a viable idea, but may be worth a try.

Are you talking of a badge to go onto the front grill, something on the lines of what an AA or RAC badge was?

No *****, I could not do that for £20, was thinking more of a lapel type badge. Possible alternatives would be a pendant or a tie pin.
I am not interested in making a profit out of this sort of thing so am trying to compromise and make something that will take no more than two hours of my time per piece. Everything we make is by hand, we never cast, therefore it is difficult trying to come up with an idea that does not cost silly money.

Sorry Pete but I am a little embarrassed by my post count and it was due to my total inexperience with any kind of forum as I had never talked on a computer before Wildcamping. In the early days I was using it like a chat room as I had no idea at all
Still. it did help to keep the forum going when we had very few posters but it was never a race or about post counts as some may think
Nowadays my daily or weekly post counts are getting lower and even lower than some that have commented on them

FWIW I dont have a problem, I full time and still far from know it all.

Perhaps I can share experiences and have hopefully something to offer conversley I am still learning from others.

The old adage , You dont need to know all the answers!, Just where to find them !!

Post whoring is adding a comment of no value or relevance just adding a comment for the sake of it.

I see occasional evidence of that here, but certainly not a prevalent infection.
