Doi you buy goods long distance that you have discovered on your travels?

I know that you will find any honey from a local producer far far better than anything from the Supermarkets. Been producing myself for some 36 years. ;)
Am I right in saying that honey should not have any extra ingredients added, unlike supermarket honey that has a list of added ingredients om the jar ,

Toothpaste.

In France, I bought Signal toothpaste with a coconut flavour. Unfortunately the cost of getting it sent over is more than the cost of the toothpaste itself.
Rubbish, plenty on here go to France. Obviously any of them will buy it and bring it home for you. I’m not back there till July (well I may pop over before then)

Thank you. I had a 'supplier' bring me back some last year, and hope we will be over ourselves this year.

My sister is off to Berlin next month (( think) and asked me if I want her to bring back anything?
Answer: Loaf of roggenbrot (German Rye Bread) :)

When I used to come back from Germany, I would always bring back 'German Bread' and Schinken (before I turned veggie) as no British alternatives were the same 🫓🥓.
When my uncle used to visit, he would always take back to Germany boxes and boxes of English Teabags (probably much easier to find those abroad now though?)

Cookies crab shop in Holt. Went there during lockdown for a crab.

Think it’s time to go back

I go to the Seafood stall next to the Clifftop Cafe at Overstrand for dressed Crab and Lobsters Kev but I shall try Cookies, we love going to Norfolk and often stay not far from Holt (Cley, Stiffkey area).

FWIW, we have a couple of butchers and a couple of farm shops we get most of our meat and veg from when at home. All four outlets are supplied by local farms and we are assured of the highest standards. Away from home, we now use a website called "Produce and Provide" to source farm shops that supply food produced to the same standards. None of our local shops are listed, but then that website seems to list only farms with their own farm shops rather than shops that sell local produce the outlet didn't rear/grow...

Campsite in Stiffkey is great for beach walking when the tides out, you can walk for miles. Just make sure of tide times though.

Yes we've nearly been caught out there before Ral.

Good food and beer in the Red Lion there.

The hotel in Tahiti had some very nice suntan lotion, for gf's 40th I thought I'd get some as a surprise, faxed the hotel (lets you know how long ago it was) to ask how much a couple of bottles would be and how to pay, never got a reply, some weeks later a box full of bottles turned up. :)
