We buy meat from in island butcher for those extra special low and slow barbie cooks. We also found some amazing white puddings with we now get mail order too, so the businesses still benefit from our visit even if we never go back there in person.

Anyone else?

We always look for local Butchers and Farm shops when we are away. I was also introduced to SBP by Gordon (@The laird) many years ago when he cooked me his legendary Scottish breakfast and still order it online or a friend who visits Stornoway regularly to visit his parents brings me some back.

Stornoway Black Pudding Kev. Marvellous stuff.
I sort of figured that out Rob, and I have tried it a few times, Liz likes it but I'm not so keen, I prefer it from either Lancashire or Derbyshire, it was my favourite greasy spoon sandwich when I was driving.

Tsingtao Beer from China. Basically the only good thing I discovered in 6 months of being there. It is made to the original Pilsner method of European beer.

Toothpaste.

In France, I bought Signal toothpaste with a coconut flavour. Unfortunately the cost of getting it sent over is more than the cost of the toothpaste itself.
