Doesn't seem to bad

I recently ripped out the gas oven and hob to replace it with drawers as we've gone all electric and need more storage space. As you can see in the picture it doesn't extend a great deal into the door space, but I will be adding a folding extension which will take up a lot more of the gap.

This doesn't bother me as it will only be in use for breakfasts and evening meals and if we really wanted to get out whilst meals were being prepared we would crawl under the extension!

We still get a great view from the sofa, but invariably sit in the doorway itself if admiring the view anyway.
