do i have to disconnect my solar panel whilst charging from my site hook up or split

Hi there, i will be fitting an 80 watt solar system to my motorhome soon and wondered if you have to disconnect the solar connections from the battery whilst charging from my site hookup or whilst charging from the split charger when driving,cheers Shawbags.

No. Your solar panel will be connected to the battery/s through a controller, which does all the clever bits

Yes to controler, i'm looking at the 80 watt kits on ebay,some of them seem reasonably priced around 140 pounds.

Yes take a look,what seem to be the same kits range from about 140 to 200 pounds and if you know your stuff maybe you can tell me if they seem any good for the money,cheers.
