Dishwasher

When there’s just two of you it’s a sight more effort to prat about loading and unloading a dishwasher than just getting on and doing ‘em by hand. :)

It's certainly less effort with DW - both cases you pick up dishes and put them somewhere. In the sink you have the effort of washing them as well. The only thing with the DW is it needs to be full ideally, so you just need more dishes and wash less often.

At home, I'd never be without. In a van? Space and power available and I'd have one.

I love to hear tales of dishwashers and washing machines etc but I gave up on 240v gizmos in the van long ago. All that remains is my hairdryer/hotbrush.. which you'd have to pry from my cold dead fingers if the batteries failed up a snowy mountain :rolleyes2:

If we where speccing up our £1/2 million RV with it's integrated dishwasher and washing machine, We'd still not be thinking of having a hairdryer. :p

Well, I wouldn't be having a dishwater and washing machine in MY £1/2 Million RV!

They would be in the support vehicle behind driven by the Butler and Maid :D

Back in the 70s when I might have had a little more hair than nowadays ;) I sometimes borrowed my mothers hairdryer when I was in a rush to go out. To my knowledge gf has only used a hair dryer once or twice before deciding she didn't like them, she's a natural blonde who doesn't believe in hairdryers, bleach, or dyes, she keeps her hair long and has a trim couple of times a year, this might be why for the first time this year the hairdresser found a grey hair. :scared:
