We still won't go anywhere near Rouen in case we take a wrong turn & it gets embarrassing.

Sharon, I still can’t drive through Rouen and I feel queasy when I see signs for it! Last year on the outskirts I passed an underpass - I’ve no idea if it was the one I tried to go through but it looked blooming low! The horror still lives in me! And yes, the people on this forum were absolutely brilliant, especially Mark 61 who went out of his way to tarp me up then escort me to the Dieppe ferry port.

no ,if it's only a shallow dent ,you just need a way of pulling the metal . i'm assuming you can't get to the dent from behind ?

Yes, but it’s on the sliding door and the panel is hard to get off - should have asked them to do it when they fixed my windows! 3rd garage managed to sort them!

Carol, the proper name is a Dent Puller and depending how bad it is something like this might just do it.
