Can someone fill me in on diesel prices in UK. I’m horrified at the prices in France.

Luckily I filled up in Irun @ €1.14ltr before crossing border & then topped up at Auchan @ €1.41 but noticed prices on the road up to 1.65.

In the past I’ve always brimmed the tank at Auchan, Calais before catching ferry, but probably not a good bet now.

Hertfordshire today it’s £1.34 but came through Bury St Edmunds and it was £1.24 this morning

In our village today i paid 1.03 euros per ltr

My last few trips out have taken me through the West Midlands. Morrisons at Walsall are usually 3-4p cheaper than Northampton. Save a couple of quid each refill.

I have found that sainsburys deisel goes much futher per gallon than anyone elses ie: sainsburys 59 mpg asda plymouth 51 mpg
I have tried a lot of different fuel over the last two years since i noticed it and sainburys always come out at least 4 mpg better
i have a berlingo 1.6 hdi with that consumption alas my berlingo surf camper only does about 42- 48 mpg (once 51 but i might have not filled it to the brim)

Only 42-48 mpg, you have made a few people on here roll there eyes, try 26mpg on our Ford Transit and that's with gentle driving.. Oh how I wish it would do 42mpg I would be so happy at that lol....

Filled up in Castleford the other night, £1.31 ltr

Prices around here last week were getting up to the high £1.37's a litre but on Thursday the big supermarkets said they were going to reduce. I think I paid around £1.29 in Morrisons Chesterfield going out, Caz filled up in Buxton last night but she isn't up yet to ask prices.

Sainsbury asda tesco dont make diesel fuel, esso bp etc do,it all comes from the same big tanks and complys with the same standard regulations.

Anyone coming in at larne port dont buy fuel as its sky high, move inland and 8p pl can be saved.

I always get at least 42mpg. Not in Demi though. Recon 26mpg is about right. I suppose the Yellow thing is good for something. It does get me to work every day, well it will until March next year. Have I mentioned retirement????:drive:
Just noticed, the gear lever is on the wrong side on the emogi. Management falling down on the job again. Can't get the staff!
