I keep getting flyers from DFDS as I have used the ferry from North Shields to Ijmuiden a few times.
It states car + 2 people from only £63, but you cannot book this because it is compulsory to book a cabin for at least another £100, is this not false/misleading advertising.
When you book a flight they don't charge 1 price to board the aircraft and ask for more money for a seat as you are not allowed to stand.

Lol definite like :giggle:

Don't do DFDS ferries any more!! wanted to cross to Dover 24 hrs early due to heavy snow forcast for Kent, wanted to charge £87 more on top the £67 I'd already paid. And no it was'nt peak time, watched the loading & it was almost empty!!:baby: MyFerry.com just charge a booking fee (was a tenner) and put you on the next comparable sailing, with a :) plus they always come a lot cheaper and wot a happy helpfull lot too!:o

I just booked campervan to France on DFDS and the were cheaper than My ferry and Pand O

But that advert is very naughty

Not a lot different to car adverts I have seen, they say the car is XXYYZZ, then the small print says plus VA T.
