I mean a proper diesel cooker, vented outside, no fumes inside van at all.

I spent years camping with mates with their old ex army diesel camp cookers. No way would you want one in a van. personally, I wouldn't want one outside either.

Now you mention it I remember now Mark, my mates boat had the Wallas ceramic hob with a blower on it.

It was an American boat (Sea Ray) and I believe these type cookers are quite common over there.
