delicate matters

i understand they are that tight you cant pee.
should have used an old inner tube .ha ha .

With regards to bagging number 2's and using dog bins it's not a well known fact that dog bin waste goes in with the normal waste in the bin lorrys so not worth searching far for one if other bins are available.

I know this due to running a local campaign for more dog waste bins.

I'm not a dog owner myself but I live right by a park ;-)

I'm quite happy with my paint tin

May I please refer the young lady to this thread, which mentions the hazards of carrying paint tins on board........

http://www.wildcamping.co.uk/forums/off-topic-chat/29933-warning-any-diyers.html

I have a portapotti which I was given but it takes up much more room, it's very obvious what it is, and my paint tin sits inside an old laundry basket, which has been decorated and serves as a seat with a cushion on top. and no-one would know it's my loo. The whole things is still lighter, aswell as taking up less floor space, than the Portapotti.

Doh, but you've told us all now!! :)

Unless you have become particularly attached to your paint tin, may I suggest this alternative option; Keep the much more technologically-advanced portapotti, and get yourself a 75 litre builders tub such as this....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YELLOW-GE..._Storage&var=560066475739&hash=item3cbedd86e4 (note:CHANGE the buying option to 75 litres tub at £15.95)

When turned upside-down, it should fit snugly over the portapotti, completely hiding it from view, and taking up no extra floor-space.

In addition, it can be used as a shower tray/tub with a 12v portable shower, either inside or outside of the van. Or you can stand in it to have a "strip-wash" using minimal warm water. Anyone with pets :dog: or little-ones :)o) can use it as a bath tub. It is also flexible enough to let you easily pour the contents into a suitable waste-water container after use! When upside-down it can be used as a handy table or worktop, possibly with a small piece of board on top if required.

If you shop around, you may find them in different colours or cheaper.....Wickes were recently selling a black 75 litre builders tub for £9.95.

No doubt, I have suitably impressed you with it's amazing versatility for hardly any storage-space, but I have saved the best until last..... You can also buy them in PINK!!!! :):):)

(Disclaimer: Whilst this 75 litre tub should fit over many portapottis (or similar brands), it MAY not fit over every version that has ever been produced).

Excellent idea, it has everything going for it; ashtray nearby, magazine rack in the door pocket and, with a little modification, the loo roll would fit on the gearstick, and of course soothing music from the in dash player.
Go for it, you'll make a bomb!

I fear that they will ban you using it while driving which would limit it's value for truck drivers . . . :lol-053:

But it might be useful for when driving the M25, London & Dover regions, all you need is a flap in the back of your pants & you are ready to cope with all the South East drivers can throw at you.

Puts a whole new meaning to "dumper truck"
