Deisel in Scotland

Can anyone reassure me of the situation in Scotland re Deisel at present as I am embarking on a three week tour up the west coast starting tommorow Sunday. A friend has just phoned me to say some stations are limiting customers to £10 worth, (is someone scaremongering) anyone up there please reply soonest please.

I have only seen one small filling station in the tayside area
with a £20 limit on fuel,
otherwise its business as usual
I don't think you'll have any problems with fuel in scotland
for the best price, fill up at tesco or asda etc, in central scotland,
its a lot dearer farther north

Filling up

Hi Tony,
Tesco have a store up as far as Wick, near the airport. We did this run last September and it was brilliant, but we have fishing rods under the bed and two short legged dogs! Please fill right up at Wick as the North West corner is very expensive for fuel (£1-12 ltr last Sept) even though attendants fill up for you! (Theres a novel idea!) You will have a great time.

Filling Up

Hi Tony,
I forgot to mention that Tesco stores have a store locator booklet/map at the customer services desk for free! A great help if its not on or you dont use a sat nav.
