Dealers.......

Rick, I have ignored a few of your previous sideswipes to maintain a little decorum , On the basis most people dont it seems enjoy a slanging match.

However seeing as you continue to irritate, and more to the point be an AJ puppet/ muppet

I think with respect if you re read your opening post sunshine, there is only one person talking rollix ...and that is you !!!!

It seems you totally lack the acumen, or have a grasp of the fact that a deal is a negotiation process, more to the point you havent shared your previous /current profession. Please do I guarantee I can slate you.

Your Mate enjoys a play on words, But I have one of my own... change your name from tresrikay to Leisure thicky .....you wont be doing yourself any discredit honest,,, if your original post is anything to go by !!!

In fact leisurethicky is good, you neither have a grasp on the real world in your deluded perceptions.

of course poisoned dwarf is another name you could use...having seen the piccies..but of course small man syndrome is becoming more and more understood.

Naturally the kindest regards

Channa

We have dealt with dealers from time to time, whether cars, bikes etc

I love the challange and the banter and you can always walk away, well ran Rick.

My hate is after sales problems and that is always a battle and unfortunatly people ( some people) roll over and give up :mad::mad:

Thanks to some members on here I got a great resault on my fabrick wear on the basis there are wise members here and free advise is golden.

Lazydays come to mind t ****s:mad::mad:

Hi Channa,

I do not dispute your statement about the 'toe droppers' I spent quite a few years in the normal motor trade and know all the tricks.

But in all fairness, the leisure industry as far as my dealership is concerned, we find the vast majority of our customers don't do that sort of thing.

Customer agro, we dont get any, we sort out any problems they may arise and treat people as we expect to be treated ourselves.

Yes we might get one in a 100 who have bought the wrong van and then find every nitty gritty thing to complain about, but then thats life.

Peter

I am sure you are a cut above the rest,,,,, after all you are a poster here. nuff said.

Seems I am about the only dealer who will put his head above the parapet! :)

Back to the original post, on Friday before the NEC show I bought a May 08 Tribute 650 off Ebay from a dealer in South Wales for £25100, still under warranty with 2700 miles and I thought we both had a good deal. On the Monday I went to the NEC and there was a big dealer from the Midlands (Don Amott I think) who had a stand offering 'top price' for your camper, so, I asked the question, the offer was £22000, now I took a moment to look on their website where they were offering an identical van to mine only a year older with more miles at £29000, so I must agree with the original poster, SOME dealers are sharks, but not all as I can thoroughly recommend the people I bought off called 'Alan Harry and son,St Mellion, Cardiff.' They normally only deal with the trade but if they have something within warranty they'll retail it, I would recommend their sales attitude to anyone, and yes, I was in truck sales for 30 years so I know a good un when I meet one and I know one I wouldn't pass the time of day with.
