2Ah won't make a jot if difference Ral.the 2ah less power maybe an issue?
Many batteries can be got with post either side, any good trade battery shop should sort him out, mine some years back cost me £45 trade where halfrods were looking double that.018 Trev.
Pos post on left hand side.

Why was his solar not charging it which begs the question, or mains linkup.![]()
Yep they dont always last more than 5/7 years at best, mine are now comming on 10 year old and only the starter battery is down a point or 2, still working ok so far.Sounds like it's an old battery due replacement Trev?

There are some add on's to the negative side Merl, which would preclude reaching over to the positive side. I've no idea what the add on's are and I don't want to be faffing around with them.Batteries aren't usually specific to a type of motorhome, rather just the base vehicle. Are you certain that the previous owner didn't just fit an oddball battery and the cables will reach and swap over anyway?
I just might! I only bought the damn thing so Izzy could drive it, she was too nervous to drive the Adria because it was "too big". I would buy the Adria back in a shot if I could.Torch it
Having witnessed first hand your cable joining techniques Ral that's probably a good ideaThere are some add on's to the negative side Merl, which would preclude reaching over to the positive side. I've no idea what the add on's are and I don't want to be faffing around with them.
Wow. Years ago I had a model aircraft engine that was 2.5cc. Must be a low tax bracket for thatIt's a 98 reg 2.4cc Marie.
Who asked you to butt in, numbnuts.Makes sense Ral, why would you buy a battery and sell the van, when you could torch it, have the hassle of getting rid of the burnt out mess, possibly damage the house or be done for dumping it or you could try to con the insurance (great idea now you’ve told the world on here)
You could just bite the bullet and part-ex it for an Adria (or something else) and let Izzy enjoy you doing the driving.
So, smart ass, what is so wrong with using sellotape huh?Having witnessed first hand your cable joining techniques Ral that's probably a good idea![]()
Wondered when someone would spot my deliberate mistake.Wow. Years ago I had a model aircraft engine that was 2.5cc. Must be a low tax bracket for that![]()
All the advice in the world wouldn’t help our Ral.Banner battery dead as a Dodo on the MH. There is no point in trying to jump start it as the date on the battery when fitted is 1/2021. I'm now looking for a new battery spec'd at 95ah, measuring 354mm long x 175mm wide x 190mm high, Easy peasy you may say, far from it. All the batteries I've looked at have the + stud on the right, I need a battery with the + stud on the left. To make matters worse, quite a lot of batteries on offer have either no pic of the stud configuration and none in the description.
What's even more odd, I found the exact copy of my dead battery 'Banner 95ah 595 33', except the studs are the reverse of mine.
I can feel a new MH coming on.![]()
Be quiet you, I'm trying to add up my groats. At least he's using metric dimensions..
That's an improvement![]()
