Banner battery dead as a Dodo on the MH. There is no point in trying to jump start it as the date on the battery when fitted is 1/2021. I'm now looking for a new battery spec'd at 95ah, measuring 354mm long x 175mm wide x 190mm high, Easy peasy you may say, far from it. All the batteries I've looked at have the + stud on the right, I need a battery with the + stud on the left. To make matters worse, quite a lot of batteries on offer have either no pic of the stud configuration and none in the description.
What's even more odd, I found the exact copy of my dead battery 'Banner 95ah 595 33', except the studs are the reverse of mine.

I can feel a new MH coming on. :confused:

The Avon 018 95AH should fit Ral, pricy though you may find it cheaper elsewhere;

Seems to me that the height is the main stumbling block, most I'm finding with reversed posts are 222mm. :(

Not sure whether battery height always includes the posts? - although I would have thought so.

This does have the same Cold Cranking Amps (720) as your battery Barry, or at least the new version does so check your old one as @r4dent suggested.

That is a good link, thanks. Two possibilities in the above, one is 90ah so would be perfect. The other is 88ah but cheaper, however, the 2ah less power maybe an issue?

I will also have to check tomorrow that the stubby studs are correct,

Thanks again.

Unfortunately there is no image Ral, although it is listed as 'Reverse' even the Avon site says 'image coming soon'.

It looks right size wise and as I say listed as 'Reverse' but I suppose really you want to see what you are dealing with. May be worth an Email to Avon?

Having said that, if it could then you would have bought the replacement Banner! 😊
No latitude with the choice of battery Rob, the studs have to be same as the original and can only be faced forward due to very tight space. It was an absolute biatch to get the battery out and I'm dreading putting the new one in.
May be a bit crafty, put my arm in a sling and get our Breakdown guys to fit it! 😆
