I use the crossing infrequently, have the Motorhome & both cars on a pay as you go account, for the extra 50p per crossing I'm not that fussed.

I got one as well I rang them and spoke to someone in accounts.
They will refund you when they close the account.
They now have the facility to take a direct payment every time you cross so I have set that up instead.
