Hi there. We are currently wild camping down in Southern Spain in Motril, which is being hit by typhoon rain and wind - 200 litres per metre in 1 hr the news told us yesterday, which sounds a lot. Anyway we have 2 leaks in forehead where the mastic at edge of van roof and by sky light has dissolved in sun over this summer (mental note to cover van next year). Does anyone have tip on what to use to get rid of the damp patch tide mark that forms once the interior roof fabric has dried ? The van is a 1997 Chausson 20 with a light cream coloured patterned sort of nylon material. The tide mark dries much darker.
Any tips on what to use to scrub the stain or soak it out (if that is possible) or secret recipes would be greatly appreciated as when or if we look to sell the van on, this would put off any discerning buyer.
Many thanks
