Might just have a go, can you point me to a fibre glass kit?Unfortunately I can't see the damaged area either so I'm thinking the bumper is cracked somewhere on the lower lip. I'd consider purchasing a small fibre glass repair kit, excellent for putting strength back into plastic or fibre bumpers. Happy patching if you decide to take my advice
I'm just North of Glasgow, the current price of diesel might prohibit the journey southAW Marine & Sons
They could also repair your old bumper if it is repairable![]()

Grp bandage behind it and build up from front, then sand and paint or use gel top coat colour filler, any boat yard will fix it.I am fairly good at hands on. How would you suggest ?
Most decent car accessory shops or yacht chandlers should have repair kits. Halfords do repair kits.Might just have a go, can you point me to a fibre glass kit?
Any auto parts will stock repair kits. Method from what I can see; you will need some ruff production paper, clean the under side of all dirt then scratch the surface for good adhesion. Now put duck tape over the hole, this is to help keep the original shape, allows you to fibre glass the shape from behind. Cut matting to size (do not use large pieces) makes life difficult. Mix a small amount enough to build the bottom section of the repair, use three strips of matting putting in place separately. If possible whilst preparing put an upward lip on the lower edge with duck tape this will stop the resin dripping from the repair onto the ground, unfortunately resin is runny. When the initial patch has gone off (hardened) rub down any excess that looks unsightly, then start the next section. Trying to do it all at once will see all your hard work end up on the ground in a heap. When hard remove duct tape, apply body filler to the hollows and shape. Take a step backwards and admire your fine work before painting.Might just have a go, can you point me to a fibre glass kit?
