There is no substitute for the real thing, if you are having air con get the real thing and fitted professionally

No, but they do the air source heat pumps.

So simple and obvious. I`ve a dozen of these in my workshop,i`ll put them in the van today .Because when i put them in place ,bet your life the wife will lower the window .So if you see them along the motorway you`ll know i`ve been there.

What did i say ,a day trip tuesday to southport to take the dogs on the beach ,wife winds the window down while we`re on the motorway,and there`s no bloody beach at southport or formby,or crosby. and on the way home the battery red light came on,so aswell as wasting fuel i need a new alternator.

Well i was wrong,i dont need a new alternator just a can of degreaser or elbow grease.What was happening was the diesel fumes was on the pulleys and belt and needed to be cleaned off.I checked the alternator and it was charging at 14.2 volts.PHEW.

There was a simple method of cooling a vehicle used from the 1930's in the USA. It was referred to as a type of 'Swamp Cooler'

Have a look at the last item in the youtube video I have linked to. Apparently they worked very well.
