Our next trip will take us through; France, (son-in-law is running the 176 km UTMB from Chamonix), Northern Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro, then back via Bosnia & Herzegovina and the Mediterranean coast of Italy and France.

Interested in peoples' experience of wildcamping in Croatia - I thought it was illegal with fines for those transgressing but the app where people post where they park for the night has lots of spots in Croatia.

Didn't see any wild camping in 2019 when we went Because of this we didn't feel comfortable wild camping.

We used camperstops which are similar to French aires but most also had toilets and showers.Cost was between £6 and £20

I'll speak to Steve next week when down In Sunderland. I spoke to him yesterday and he was parked up at the bottom of the ski jump in Croatia.

Any word from Steve?

We should be in Slovenia next week, so also interested to know how wildcamping is there.

Thanks

Hi Sorry forgot to reply, his stay was only for two nights at the bottom of the ski jump.
