It was pointed out to me recently that using the term 'aires' is pretty pointless in the UK because no-one seems to understand it, unless they're motorhomers already. I now tend to say 'motorhome stopovers', which seems to hit the spot.

I would think they will have had descriptions of aires rammed down their throats.

Right guys how many more surveys in UK can we find to have a dig about anti Motorhome?

Just do a simple google search for "tourist survey" and fill your boots.

Just filled the survey in and left a few pertinent comments about facility’s for motorhomes.

Completed with the negative responses that it deserves, and a request for aires or parking for the quiet, tidy, grey pound couples that are probably the majority of motorhomers.

Unfortunately I think you're probably correct.
