we mustnt get confused here .there is a company called proper cornish pasties . based in bodmin . actually another mate called joe is the person in morrisons in gib that cooks those pasties . think byronic knows scots joe as well. mate of dennis,s . cheers alan.

if you are in zims (zimbabwe) then go to kariba hights and finnd pollys pies there a good 500 gram ,full of meat and well worth the travel.

Thanks for the info. Yes I was referring to Crantock pasties, I had never heard of a company called 'proper cornish pasties' Lucky if you live near enough to Indian Queens to get the frozen uncooked Crantock pasties home before they thaw out. I have taken cooked pasties home from Ferrels to freeze, but they are not the same, the pastry falls apart. You can see why the likes of Ginsters have to make the pastry thick and greasy to hold together if you're going to freeze and reheat them after cooking.

as far as i know you can get them at the factory. as for proper cornish they do make loads of different ones . i used to deliver them frozen forpresto pasties and grannies pasties . shops all over uk. they also do boxes and ass far as i know you can get them from the factory on walker lines in bodmin . my son also worked for them for a while. proper cornish orders 19 paardeberg road bodmin. 0120878712.
