Anyone recommend a cordless rechargeable vacuum for my motorhome ? I’ve been using a cheapo fleabay 12v one the last few months but to be honest not a lot of good.
Will go down the Dyson route but if anyone has another type that no doubt will be substantially cheaper than a Dyson and does a decent job please let me know.

Been there, done that, bought the cheapo 12v vacuums and they are rubbish so ..........................................

Bought a Dyson V6 Animal just over 2 years back now and it`s faultless, a very good point is that it has a powered head with revolving brush.

The animal version also has a smaller powered head with stiffer bristles which properly shifts pet hairs.

https://www.dyson.co.uk/sticks/dyson-v6-animal.html there are numerous outlets selling them refurbished for £129 - £149

We can get half a dozen or so good cleans before it needs charging which it happily does with the Sterling Pro Power Q 350w inverter and is very gentle on the batteries.

We are so impressed with it that we bought a V10 for home and the corded Dyson has now been retired.

The dyson car and boat is the dyson v6 but comes with 240v charger as well as a 12v charger plus a lot of different attachments as well as the powered head

A stiff and soft brush and a dust pan 'cos I am a tight git. It needs charging with food and alcohol each day but does a clean sweep in 10 minutes or so.

It also takes up very little room and is light.

I did a bit of homework before I bought mine, to see which one had the most powerful 'suck'. This was 7 years ago... the Dyson was a clear winner and still going strong.

Well as I envisaged the Dyson comes out on top. I’ve organised my son to take me food shopping etc tomoss to stock up my motorhome so may well head down to my local retail park to check out the Dyson Range.
Many thanks to all who replied giving their opinions.

I have a Dyson V6 for sale with all attachments, a great piece of kit. Unfortunately I don’t think the WC pony express extends to Bolnuevo but if anyone is coming this way........

We’re both well Gordon albeit suffering from sleep deprivation, can’t sleep in these crazy temperatures.
Local folk say that if we think it’s hot now just wait till August!! Coolest place is in the car with the air con cranked up.
Take care,

Pat

After you’ve finished with the pan & brush, I could go over with the Dyson & get even more shite out.

I’ve demonstrated this & the results are amazing, don’t bother with any other rechargeable vacuum, they’re all rubbish in comparison.

Agree Dyson. Have a Black & Decker 12 V, but had to run the engine to run it. It worked okay before we had dogs. But now we have a Dyson and I realise how much better it is. Don’t prat around with anything else, just go for it.

Only be warned the one we have has a relatively poor battery. Even in the van you really need to charge it for 10 minutes after each use.
