Ive just watched a very good video by
Romany Pirates.
Titled
Van Life in Scarborough SHOCKED Us.
Genuinely Not What We Expected .

In it they find a few park ups .
They also hilight a conseltation document that we can fill in regarding the said Ban.
I have just filled it in .

I have yet to watch it.....but today hopefully
Will look out for the consultation bit

Seems to be a few more councils etc actually starting to realise the possibility of more money making by encouraging us to perhaps stay a bit longer and put some money into their coffers

Yes it was a long video but it also covered free and paid over night parking places plus doing a litter pick then photos sent to relevant councils, and a little about Scarborough.

I like to sea fish at Sandsend over Autumn and winter .
Been going for years but now the ban is Active in the area its wiped that out unless I park in a layby.
When the high tides are in late evening or very early morning I would drive the 160 miles to Sandsend then sleep a few hours
Before setting my rods out .
Which would now be illegal to do in campervan.
But legal in my car.
