I wish to complain that since the implementation of the new rules which either haven't been implemented or have been implememted by stealth the only things that have been posted on this forum have been in the "jokes" section - and very few of them are funny!!!! Bring back the hand-to-hand combat is what I say........................................:rolleyes2::lol-049::raofl::banana:;)

Yes the thread was closed, so looks like the rules do apply, i'm confused too, it was only a bit of fun, hey ho, life goes on

The new rule that was not implemented has not been used on any thread.

Which tread is it that was closed that you think I have used the rule on.
 
I have not read it, I am guessing Tes locked I will go and have a look.

Ok the thread is reopened and has been sucked into the black hole.

If you really want to drop to that level do it in there where normal members are protected from you.

I have not been in the black hole and have no intentions of doing, the likes thingy started of as a bit of tongue in cheek, i didn't mean to cause any offence, maybe you should consider getting rid of that, then that will stop that won't it,

He doesn't mean you in particular Jen, he's just talking in general terms of any posts in that area being hidden from "one" or "you plural" as in any general person :)
 
What I want to know is who are these "normal" people who need protecting? :)
 
It has gone further than forum chit chat. It has now become abusive.
The new rule would have stopped some of the problems.
The current rules are fine, they allow me to lock and delete threads and ban members.

Ad Hominem comments/personal attacks towards anyone - staff, forum member, or a visitor who is likely to view it on the forums - is subject to the message being deleted and action taken against the user, regardless of how pertinent or thoughtful the rest of the message might be.


They also prohibit members posting threads about bans, thread closures, etc

You may not publicly complain about or demand a reason for another user's ban, the deletion of a message, or the deletion/closure of a thread. Any discussion about warnings, bans, message deletion, thread deletion and thread closure should be done over private email between the person concerned and the moderators.


I will see if things calm down, if they do not then I will start to implement the current rules.
