Comfortmatic or 9 speed

Just want to identify as most ads just say automatic, it looks like it might be 9 speed on the knob, but the pic and my eyes are equally bad.

It looks a very spartan van for the money.

Pretty sure a comfortmatic wouldn't have D or P.

Don't think any automated manuals have a D or P either.
 
Ooops my mistake, if I drive it I always leave it in R safer than N when parked. And invariably reprimanded by the owner 😁.

A 'slushbox' auto has a locking pawl on the output shaft which is engaged on P which gives a secondary lock as well as handbrake, the comfortmatic being the manual gearbox with a ,'bolt-on' auto gear change, doesn't have a locking pawl, the recommendation is to leave them in drive or reverse when switching off the engine, so you are doing it correctly if you want a secondary lock as well as handbrake.
