Cold feet?

I have quite poor circulation in my feet. Someone bought me some bed socks 25-30 years ago for Christmas; I forget who. I've tried other thermal socks, they don't work for me. I found them on Amazon the other day.

They just arrived, so I'll be trying them out tonight.

I reckon I could sleep until about 4 am with no PJs or duvet, provided I have socks on.

I think it’s one of those comfort things where if you’re Feet are warm, Then it goes a hell of a way to keeping the whole of you warm. So do what it takes,
Maybe just be conscious of any strangle marks on the top of your Sock line.

I did try some thermal socks a few years ago for when I'm sat in the hide on winter nights, I suppose they where ok, but a bit bulky. Nowadays I use merino wool socks all year round, my feet are always comfy now.

I am the complete opposite and am not comfortable if my feet are hot. I wear sandals late into the year and sleep with my feet sticking out of bed.

as i don't like the tight feel of socks ,i roll up a dressing gown and put it in the bottom of the bed ,then i push m feet into tthe folds .

These things are very light and not tight, so they suit me fine. Normal socks bobble up on the sheets, so a bit unsightly.

I have always slept as nekkid as a Jaybird with the windows cracked open and the radiator turned down to 1. I sleep much better in cooler or cold weather than in the Summer. My duvet is a 4.5 tog or just a cotton bedsheet in hot weather.

The medication I’ve been on since last October have given me a swelling issue in my legs Kev, those compression socks are a god send mate.

You can buy down bootees, primarily meant for winter camping but should be good for use at home.

It'll soon be time for me to dig out my electric overblanket for the lounge

I hate being too hot or cold nowadays.

I can't do with nekkid, need to keep me knickers on, and I have a 10 tog all year round inc the van.

I am the opposite I have a 4 tog all year round, and wouldn’t be able to wear socks in bed as I usually need my feet sticking out of the covers to keep them cool, same in the motorhome

Just remember with higher compression you may have to go from e5 to e10.
