Coca-Cola?

I read on this forum that Coca-Cola is a good way to clean the grey waste water tank and stop unwanted smells coming through the plug holes of the sink etc. Is this still the best solution or is there a better way?

I put a gallon of cheap bleach into tank through the waste outlets occasionally when the waste tank is reasonably full, Then after a short drive leave it for a while then a longer drive and empty. Also thinks it helps if you don't try to conserve water and after laundry empty bowl in sink's and only empty grey tank when its at least half full and always after a drive

Maybe not the best but it is safe and it is cheap @ about 20 pence.

You can used in your toilet at home, give it a good soak overnight, it does a good job.

I buy 3 or 4 bottles of the cheapest nastiest Cola normally at Tesco 17p for 2 litres Tesco Everyday Value Sugar Free Cola 2 Litre Bottle - Groceries - Tesco Groceries

Put in in the tank, bit of a drive and watch the crap come out :scared: preferably across a car park or whilst i`m driving :scared: ..... joke.

I guess you mean a few spins round a roundabout and then dump it. :scared:

I use a strong solution of soda crystals in boiling water poured down the plug holes into an empty tank before driving home where I empty it and useit for the drains. Its not only Scots men and Yorkshire men that are careful

Don't use Coca Cola, use supermarket "Cola" the cheaper & nastier the better.
